Industry – Academia Collaboration
TalentCorp’s Centre of Excellence unit was established in 2021 with the vision to foster enhanced collaboration between industries and academia, propelling economic growth and innovation in Malaysia. The core mission for initiatives under the Collaboration Unit are:
Facilitate Collaborative Projects: Foster and facilitate collaborative projects between industries and academia to drive innovation, research, and development, addressing real-world challenges and opportunities.
Align Curriculum with Industry Needs: Work closely with industries to identify current and future skill requirements, ensuring that academic curricula align with industry demands, producing job-ready graduates.
Promote Knowledge Exchange: Encourage the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices between academia and industries, creating a mutually beneficial environment for learning and growth.
Upskill and Reskill Initiatives: Implement upskilling and reskilling programs to equip the existing workforce with the latest skills and technologies, ensuring industry relevance and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving landscape.

#Walkwithme#WalkWithMe is a Sector-Focused mentorship program led by TalentCorp with the support from key industry players in collaboration with selected faculty/institutions with the objectives to provide a solution to the existing challenges faced by industry players in getting access to industry-ready entry-level talents. By doing this it will help in establishing a talent pipeline while fostering a good relationship between 2 stakeholders, the industry and the student’s faculties. |
