Strong Employment Prospects At Home Brings Malaysian Companies To Career Fair Down Under

Melbourne, 3 October 2015 - Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) together with over 20 employers from Malaysia participated in the GRADUAN – MASCA Australia Recruitment Drive 2015 in Melbourne today, which attracted over 1,500 Malaysian undergraduates studying in Melbourne and other parts of Australia.

This year saw a better representation of companies from Malaysia's key sectors actively interviewing and recruiting Malaysians here, such as Shell, ExxonMobil, AirAsia, Motorola, PwC, Deloitte, Gamuda, Maybank and others. 

“The positive employment appetite from Malaysian employers at the fair today is indicative of a healthy job market especially in Malaysia’s priority sectors,” said Johan Mahmood Merican, CEO of TalentCorp. 

“It is encouraging to see employers from Malaysia investing time and effort to attract top talents to further develop and build a better Malaysia together,” added Elia Talib, Managing Director of GRADUAN.
