OFFICIAL STATEMENT: COVID-19 – REINSTATEMENT OF MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER
Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) refers to the announcement by the Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Hj. Mohd Yassin regarding the reinstatement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in five states and Federal Territories beginning 13th January 2021.
We wish to inform the public that the offices of TalentCorp and the Malaysia Expatriate Talent Service Centre (MYXpats) will be temporarily closed for the duration of the MCO.
MYXpats will also be closed on 12th January 2021 (today) to facilitate sanitation work on the premises. This follows a positive COVID-19 test result yesterday by a MYXpats employee. The relevant authorities have been duly notified, and updates regarding the recommencement of MYXpats counter services will be shared with the public as soon as possible.
Precautionary steps are also being taken to safeguard the health and well-being of our staff, customers and the community:
- In line with the MCO, TalentCorp and MYXpats staff will work from home (WFH) effective 13th January 2021.
- Physical meetings and appointments with stakeholders will be postponed until further notice or where possible, rescheduled to phone or virtual meetings.
- Please expect some disruptions to our general phone lines and call centres at this time. TalentCorp and MYXpats Centre email help desks will remain operational in the interim.
TalentCorp and MYXpats will return to full capacity once it is safe to do so, and we look forward to continuing to serve our stakeholders as effectively as possible.
